Primal Possession By Katie Reus

I enjoyed this novel more than I probably should have, considering this is the second time I’ve read it. But even when I knew what was going to happen, it still made me laugh and smile. All because of the simple fact that Katie Reus is an exceptional author. One that I’ve enjoyed many times over again, which won’t change anytime soon. For her Moon Shifter novels are one-of-a-kind, and they’re excellent ones at that.

December has no idea as to why she keeps saying yes to Liam. She knows that they can never be more than friends, but she’s still reluctant to let him go. Especially when he’s been there for her like no other man has. That is, except for her brother Parker. Who’s been there for her ever since her parents died. An after, through a tragedy that she’s never thought she’d get over. But lately Liam has been helping her to forget all of that. Even when she doesn’t want to. However, she can’t keep punishing herself forever, and even if she won’t admit to it she’s having a blast with him. But to her he’ll only ever be a fling. Because that’s all he can be. Unfortunately for her though, Liam is pretty darn sure that she’s his intended Mate. The one woman that he’s been waiting his whole life for. An he’s more than certain that December is that woman. Because the men in his family have the ability of knowing who their true Mate is once they’ve seen her. And Liam knows exactly who that woman is. But now the APL knows that December has value to the Pack. Someone that can be used against them if need be. And the high power says that it needs to be. Putting a big target on December’s back. A target that can’t be more vulnerable according to Liam. Which is what December is starting to realize, when her date tries to kidnap her. An thankfully for her Parker taught her how to defend herself. But now Liam is refusing to even leave her side. Saying that she’s at risk for being attacked again. But having Liam sleeping in the same house as her just might push December over the edge.

This novel would be classified as an adult urban fantasy romance novel. For it’s got a butt load of magic, wonderment, mystery, and passion all jam-packed within its pages. It’s definitely a shifter novel, but that doesn’t take away from any of the romance within it. However, this has more to do with the main characters than anything else. This plot revolves solely around their struggles and how they fight to overcome them. It’s an exciting, thrilling, and adventurous novel. Which is the exact reason as to why I’m giving this novel such an amazing recommendation. For this is an amazing novel that any urban fantasy lover would love to read. So run to your nearest library and pick this novel up today. You definitely won’t regret your choice.
